Draft from what you already have, not from a blank template
ADOIA starts from your own documents and from what you’ve already discussed about the case. You do the writing; what it removes is starting from scratch every time.
Every brief starts by looking for the last one
You have to draft a defence. The first thing you do isn’t writing: it’s opening the folder of another similar matter, finding the brief that worked, copying it and starting to change names.
Half an hour before your own first sentence.
And if what you’re copying is 2 years old, you’ll have to check whether what it said still holds.
The first version is your document, as it is
You choose a source document and ADOIA opens the draft with its exact text, without rewriting it.
That matters more than it seems: you don’t start with an “improved” version that you have to review in full to see what’s been changed. You start with what you’d already written, and you decide from there.
Your text · not rewritten
What you’ve already said about the matter isn’t lost
If you’re asking about a case file and at some point you type “draft me a statement of opposition using this”, ADOIA opens the draft with a summary of the whole conversation, not just your last sentence.
It includes the facts that have come up, what you’re asking for, the deadlines mentioned and the missing information.
If something doesn’t add up, it tells you before creating anything
The source document is analysed before the draft exists. If there’s a problem, you find out at that point, not once the brief has already been created and is half finished.
And every draft keeps its versions: who wrote what, and when. If 2 people at the firm work on the same document at the same time, the system warns them instead of letting one overwrite the other’s work.
Not everything that gets drafted belongs to the whole firm
Each draft specifies who can see it. A draft brief on a sensitive matter doesn’t need to be available to everyone.
And every draft is recorded in the case file activity: what was generated, when and who did it.
Frequently asked questions
No. The first version is your document as it is, not rewritten. From there, you decide what to change.
ADOIA reads it as if the changes had been accepted, which is usually what you want. Many text extractors skip inserted text and return the document as if the changes had been rejected.
Yes. If you ask for something to be drafted halfway through the conversation, the draft opens with a summary of everything discussed: the facts, what you’re asking for, the deadlines and the missing information.
The summary may come out poorer, but the reference documents and the case file the draft belongs to are worked out separately, not decided by the model. You’ll never find a draft attached to the wrong case file.
The system flags the conflict instead of letting one person overwrite the other’s work.
Yes. Each one specifies who can see it, and it is recorded in the case file activity.
